Is it permissible to give charity from money earned through cupping?

The correct view, which is held by the majority of scholars, is that earning a living through cupping (hijama) is not forbidden. At most, it would be considered discouraged (makrooh tanzeeh). It is authentically reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave the cupper his wages, and if it were forbidden, he would not have given them. Based on this, there is no harm in giving charity from the cupper's earnings, as it is lawful money acquired through lawful means. Therefore, it is permissible to spend it on legitimate causes. The evidence for this is the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him, concerning the cupper's earnings: "(Feed) your slaves with it." And Ibn Abbas's saying: "I eat from it and feed others from it." If it is permissible to feed people from the earnings of cupping, then it is permissible to give charity from it.
