What is meant by the "mixed excursions" that you prohibit? Does it refer only to those where men and women gather together in the bus, or does it include those where they walk together in mixed groups after reaching their destination, or does it encompass both situations? And what is meant by "excursions organized with the intention of men and women gathering, which is a door to fitna"?

The guideline for permissible and forbidden mixing is detailed in Fatwa No. 131445. What is meant by "trips organized with the intention of gathering men and women" is that the gathering is a primary purpose of the trip, as opposed to a gathering that is accidental and unplanned. Excessive questioning and delving into minute details are blameworthy in Islamic law, due due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "What I have forbidden you, avoid; and what I have commanded you, do as much of it as you can. For indeed, what destroyed those before you was their excessive questioning and their differing with their prophets."
