What is the ruling on one who kidnaps children, commits indecency with them, and mutilates the body?

Repentance from these crimes is valid and accepted if its conditions are met: sincere remorse, abandonment of the sin, determination not to return to it, and enabling the victims' guardians to exact retribution if they do not pardon. As for the worldly punishment for these crimes, it includes the prescribed punishment for zina (unlawful sexual intercourse) or liwāṭ (sodomy) and the prescribed punishment for murder. In some cases, it may necessitate the prescribed punishment for ḥirābah (unlawful warfare/banditry). In the Hereafter, the punishment is severe, for intentional murder incurs Hellfire, Allah’s wrath, His curse, and a tremendous torment. The punishment for liwāṭ is no less than the punishment for zina. The punishment is more severe if the act was rape. Allah Almighty has combined the explanation of the consequences of these crimes with the encouragement to repent from them in Sūrat Al-Furqān (25:68-71).
