Is a wet dream from Allah or from Satan?

A righteous vision (Ru'ya) is from Allah, and a dream (Hulum) is from Satan. This does not mean that Satan actually does something. The term "Ru'ya" is used for something beloved, while "Hulum" is a name for something disliked. The beloved vision (Ru'ya) is attributed to Allah as an honorific. Nocturnal emission (Ihtilam) is from Satan, and for this reason, the majority of scholars hold that it is not permissible to say that it occurred to prophets, because it involves manipulation by Satan, and prophets are infallible from such things.
