Is it permissible to lie and abandon someone in order to avoid meeting with someone who wants to commit sodomy with me?

Sodomy is a heinous crime. One must beware of its perpetrator and be firm in dealing with him, threatening to report him to the authorities. As for lying, it is forbidden and is not permissible unless it is the only way to achieve the intended goal. One should resort to dissimulation (tawriyah) instead, whenever possible.
