Is it permissible for a person to bathe naked?

It is permissible to bathe naked when in seclusion, and this is evidenced by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, bathing with his wives, and by Moses and Job, peace be upon them both, bathing naked. There is no legal obligation to cover oneself when bathing in seclusion, but it is preferable. However, it is forbidden to expose one's awrah (private parts) in front of people.
