How should one deal with a father who is married to several women, practices sorcery, refuses to divide his property among his children, and his children have no information about his other wives and their children?

A man marrying more than one wife is permissible, and it does not require the permission of the first wife or the children. The father must be just among his children in giving gifts, and it is not permissible to favor some over others except for a legitimate reason such as poverty or illness. Pressuring the father to write over his properties to you is not permissible, because it is an act of disobedience (to parents) and his money is his exclusive right. Forcing the father to do what he does not want is an act of disobedience, and it is one of the major sins. It is not permissible to assume that the father favors some children over others by selling his properties. A father concealing his marriage and children is not permissible because it leads to the loss of inheritors' rights and the severance of kinship ties. It is not permissible to harbor ill suspicions about the father or the paternal aunt regarding magic and sorcery, because indeed, some suspicion is a sin. It is recommended to maintain adherence to ruqyah (definition) (Islamic exorcism/healing).
