What is the ruling on working in a hotel while adhering to religious duties and inviting people to Islam?

If your work in the hotel is limited to permissible activities, such as renting rooms, and does not involve forbidden things, such as serving alcohol, then the work is permissible. Engaging in dawah (inviting others to Islam) is a blessed endeavor. However, if your work is directly related to forbidden things, or assists in them, or necessitates involvement in or condoning of evil, then it is not permissible for you to remain in this job.
