Does reading mythology books for educational purposes, such as "The First Mind's Adventure," make the reader guilty of polytheism?

There is no impediment to reading fictional stories (myths) for entertainment and edification, even if they are devoid of benefit, as long as they do not contain harm or a Sharia-prohibited element, such as including polytheistic meanings, intellectual deviations, denigration of religion and moral values, or incitement to vices. One should minimize reading them to preserve time. Reading the book "The First Adventure of the Mind" is permissible if it is free from what has been mentioned, though other readings are more preferable.
