Is the Hadith: "Every sin of the sea martyr is forgiven, even debt and trust" authentic, and who narrated it?

The hadith mentioned in the question is weak: "The martyr of the land is forgiven all sins except debt and trust, and the martyr of the sea is forgiven all sins, including debt and trust." This is contradicted by what is more authentic. Muslim narrated from Abu Qatadah that striving in the way of Allah and belief in Allah are the best deeds, and that martyrdom in the way of Allah expiates all sins except debt, as Gabriel informed the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
