Is it permissible to work in a Jewish synagogue?

It is not permissible to work in any place where other than Allah is worshipped, such as churches and temples, whether for the People of the Book or others. This is because it constitutes cooperation in sin and transgression, which Allah has forbidden with His words: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
