What is the correct interpretation of the pronoun "هن" (hunna - them/they, feminine plural) in His (Allah's) saying: "In them (gardens) will be women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinn" (Ar-Rahman: 56) and "In them (gardens) are good and beautiful women" (Ar-Rahman: 70), especially after the dual form was mentioned in the preceding verses, and does the pronoun refer to women or to fruits?

The exegetes have not settled on a single statement that the plural pronoun in the two verses refers only to fruits. Al-Alusi, in his exegesis, mentioned the exegetes' opinions regarding the reference of the pronoun in His (Allah's) saying, "In them [are] women limiting [their] glances," including that it refers to the gardens, or the two gardens (considering that Arabs may use the plural pronoun for a dual noun), or the houses and palaces understood from the two gardens, or the couches, or the blessings enumerated from the two gardens, the springs, the fruits, the couches, and the produce.
