What is the ruling on naming a girl Batool?

There is no objection to naming a girl "Batool," because its meaning is 'to be قطع off' or 'to abstain.' Mary, peace be upon her, was given this title due to her abstinence from marriage, and Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, was given it either due to her superiority over the women of her time in virtue and honor, or due to her detachment from worldly life and devotion to Allah the Almighty.
