Are the Canaanites Arabs, were any of them mentioned as enemies of God, and were Nimrod or Goliath among them?

The Canaanites are considered to be from the Amalekites, whose origin is from the Arabized Arabs (al-Aribah). Al-Tabari mentioned that the Amalekites of Al-Sham were called Canaanites, and among them were the Pharaohs in Egypt. Ibn Khaldun also indicated that the Canaanites were from the generation of Arabs after the Flood. They are mentioned in the Holy Quran in His (Allah's) saying: "They said, 'O Moses, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical power, and indeed, we will not enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter it.'" (Al-Ma'idah: 22). Ibn Kathir mentioned that Moses, peace be upon him, found in the land of Jerusalem a people of tyrants, among whom were the Canaanites, and Allah commanded them to fight them. It appears that Nimrod and Goliath were also among the Canaanites.
