Were Habil and Qabil prophets?

Cain and Abel were among the first sons of Adam, and their story is mentioned in the Holy Quran. The killer (Cain) was not a prophet, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, affirmed that he was the first to establish the practice of killing. As for the victim (Abel), there is no mention indicating whether he was a prophet or not.
