What is the reason for the decline and division of Muslims, and is there an Islamic awakening despite this decline?

The reasons for the Muslims' decline are numerous, the most prominent of which are:

1. Disunity: The loss of Islamic unity after the fall of the Caliphate, which led to their weakness, fragmentation, and the enemies' dominance over them. Allah Almighty says: "And do not dispute, lest you lose courage and your strength depart." [Al-Anfal:46].

2. Infiltration of destructive ideologies: The spread of methodologies alien to Islam, supported by enemies, overlooked by scholars, and ignored by the youth, which weakened faith.

3. Marginalization of Sharia: The removal of Allah's rule and its replacement with infidel constitutions. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed – then it is those who are the disbelievers." [Al-Ma'idah:44].

4. Psychological defeat: The loss of self-confidence in the face of enemies, a dangerous malady that leads to decadence and annihilation.

5. Emergence of corrupt leaderships: The presence of figures who appear as reformers but implement the schemes of the enemies of Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Callers to the gates of Hell; whoever answers them, they will cast him into it." (Agreed upon).

6. Infatuation with Western cultures: Imitating the West in their customs and ways. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will certainly follow the ways of those who were before you, handspan by handspan, and cubit by cubit, to the extent that if they entered the hole of a monitor lizard, you would follow them." (Agreed upon).

7. Love of this world: Preoccupation with the pleasures and desires of this world, which causes weakness and a decline in faith. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The nations are about to gather against you as eaters gather around their bowl... And Allah will certainly cast weakness into your hearts." They said: "What is weakness, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Love of this world and hatred of death." (Narrated by Abu Dawud).
