ما الفرق بين الطاهر والمباح؟

Pure is the opposite of impure. Something can be pure by its origin, like inanimate objects, or pure after purification. As for permissible (mubah), it is that which Allah has permitted to be done or left, and to which no command or prohibition is intrinsically attached. Pure and permissible can converge, such as in the case of bread. Permissible can be distinct, as in the case of carrion for one in dire necessity. Pure can be distinct, as in the case of poison. Generally, everything pure is permissible, and everything permissible is pure, though they may differ in some instances.
