Is it permissible to give zakat to the family of a prisoner whose salary has been suspended, and they do not have enough money for their food or for their travel tickets to return to their country?

It is permissible to pay Zakat to a poor family that cannot afford food, even if their provider is imprisoned for embezzlement. It is also permissible to give them from Zakat what suffices them to purchase travel tickets to return to their country if they do not possess the means to do so.
