Is it permissible to donate six thousand Saudi Riyals to Quran memorization circles instead of returning it to the company, in order to clear oneself of liability for repeated lateness to work, knowing that the company's policy does not allow for the return of this amount?

If your company penalizes you for tardiness by reducing your salary increase, you are not required to give any of that salary as charity, because the company has taken its due. However, if the tardiness was without the company's knowledge, you must return what corresponds to the time of the delay. If returning it is not possible, then you should give that money as charity. Sheikh Ibn Jibreen has issued a fatwa stating that whoever is remiss in their work does not deserve their full salary and must give as charity what corresponds to the time they wasted.
