The name "Ahmad" indicates that its bearer is described by the strongest qualities for which one is praised, and that his reputation and remembrance across generations are described as the most intensely praiseworthy remembrance. Moreover, "Ahmad" is a proper noun that is synonymous with "Muhammad" in meaning, as both indicate one who is greatly praised.
