What is the meaning of Allah's name (Ash-Shakur)?

Ash-Shakur (The Most Appreciative) is an intensive form of shukr (appreciation/gratitude). He is the One with whom a small amount of the servants' deeds prospers and for whom He multiplies the reward. His appreciation for His servants is His forgiveness of them, and He is the One who praises His obedient servants.
