What is the legal ruling on writing phrases such as: "Dear weather... make up your mind, summer or winter!" or "We want an apology from life" on social media?

The saying: "Dear weather... decide your stance, summer or winter" is idle talk that is unbecoming of a Muslim. Some of the predecessors used to hold themselves accountable for saying "a hot day and a cold day."

As for the saying "We want an apology from life...", it contains two prohibitions:

1. Its apparent meaning is to curse time (al-dahr), which is forbidden, because it implies cursing Allah عز وجل. Time is a creation of Allah, and cursing it means cursing its Creator or believing that it acts in conjunction with Allah, which is polytheism (shirk). 2. This phrase implies discontent and objection to Allah's decree (qadar), which is not permissible.

A Muslim must avoid these ambiguous words, even if their intention is good.
