As for working with foreign companies, the basic principle is permissibility, unless Allah has prohibited it, such as in cases of usury (riba), gambling (qimar), or excessive uncertainty (gharar). However, they must be boycotted if boycotting them serves a legitimate Islamic interest, or if they are belligerents and dealing with them would strengthen their power against Muslims.
