What is the ruling on working in a pharmacy that sells items forbidden by Sharia, and what is the ruling on the salary received from it, and is it obligatory to leave this job?

There is no objection to working in pharmacies that sell items used for both permissible and forbidden purposes. However, it is not permissible to sell what is known or highly probable to be used by the buyer for something forbidden, as this falls under cooperation in sin and aggression, which is prohibited by the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Therefore, the questioner must refrain from selling what he knows the buyer will use to disobey Allah. As for those whose intentions are unknown, the default is that selling to them is permissible.
