Is it permissible to work as a pharmacist in Egypt given the following concerns: insufficient experience and knowledge, selling medication without a prescription, administering injections in the pharmacy, the employer's illicit financial dealings, selling non-pharmaceutical products such as makeup, and preparing pharmaceutical compounds that may not be beneficial or could be harmful?

1. It is necessary to acquire the knowledge and skills required for the job, and to consult experts in the field of pharmacy to determine the necessary amount.

2. It is impermissible to administer medicine, injections, or compound medicine that would harm anyone.

3. It is impermissible to violate professional regulations and laws as long as they encompass public interests and do not contravene Sharia.

4. Violations by the pharmacy owner or its employees (such as usury, withholding Zakat, and breaking the law) do not prohibit your earnings as long as your work does not involve anything unlawful. However, you must offer advice, enjoin good, and forbid evil according to your ability.

5. Selling makeup tools or shaving machines is not prohibited unless it is known that the buyer will use them for unlawful purposes.

6. If you are unable to avoid violating Sharia in your current job, then look for another pharmacy or another field of work, and consult with people of experience and righteousness. "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out."
