What is the ruling on answering exams with a creedal deviation attributed to its proponent, while the students know what is correct?

The madhhab (definition) of the Pious Predecessors is to affirm what Allah has affirmed for Himself and what His Messenger (peace be upon him) has affirmed, without likening Him to creation (tashbeeh), or anthropomorphizing Him (tamtheel), or asking how (takyeef), or denying His attributes (ta'teel). They pass on authentic reports according to their apparent meaning and entrust knowledge of them to Allah. It is obligatory to believe in this without asking how, and to avoid delving into the ambiguous (mutashabih) verses of the Quran, and to keep away from books that raise doubts in religion.
