Why does a week consist of seven days, even though Allah created everything in six days?

The exact beginning of the seven-day division of the week, and whether it predates or postdates the creation of the heavens and the earth, cannot be definitively ascertained due to the absence of explicit evidence. However, the division of the week into seven days is linked to religious command. Furthermore, nations that did not possess divine scriptures did not have names for the days of the week in their languages; rather, the week became known through oral tradition and the accounts of prophets. The idea of dividing the month into weeks is attributed to the Babylonians, but the current organization of weeks emerged after them. The week, "Shavu'a," is mentioned in the Torah.
