Is it permissible to cut ties with sisters and the mother and not visit them to avoid their harm, evil, and insults, especially since the mother does not forbid such behavior?

Sisters are kin with whom maintaining ties is obligatory. However, refraining from visiting them does not necessarily constitute severing ties. Rather, severance is negated by greetings, communication, gifts, and visiting the sick. The matter of dealing with them fluctuates between license (rukhsah) and resolve (azimah). Resolve is preferable in maintaining ties with them and enduring their harm, based on the hadith of Abu Hurairah. License involves refraining from visiting them if it causes you harm, based on the hadith: "There is no harm nor reciprocal harm." It is permissible to shun them if it is highly probable that shunning will be effective in deterring them from wrongdoing and harm, provided that this shunning does not extend to the mother. This shunning is not a severance of ties; rather, it is part of fulfilling the connection and providing support, in accordance with the hadith: "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or oppressed."
