What is the ruling on undergoing surgery to remove moles that have appeared and increased in size and prominence on the face, while leaving congenital moles?

There is no harm in removing a mole, whether it appeared later or was present from birth, if it is unsightly, provided that its removal does not result in harm. It is advisable to consult a Muslim female doctor first, and do not go to a male doctor except in cases of extreme necessity.
