What is the ruling on the marriage of the sons of a brother who was nursed by his sister, to her daughters, and likewise, the sons of brothers who were not nursed by her, to her daughters?
If a brother is suckled by his sister five full, satisfying times within the two-year suckling period, he becomes her son through suckling. It then becomes forbidden for his sons to marry the daughters of this woman, because those daughters have become paternal aunts to those sons through suckling, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "What is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by suckling." As for the sons of brothers who were not suckled by her, it is permissible for them to marry her daughters.
