The answer

Claiming knowledge of the unseen is disbelief and a denial of the Holy Quran, because none knows the unseen except Allah. Whoever claims such knowledge is a soothsayer or a diviner, whom it is impermissible to believe or visit. Whoever asks a diviner without believing him has committed a grave sin. If he believes him in his claim of knowing the unseen, then it is a greater disbelief that expels one from the faith. As for predictions based on circumstantial evidence without certainty, there is no harm in them, and they are considered a form of sagacity.
