What is the ruling on feigning the commission of a sin, such as feigning a beating or drinking alcohol?

It is not permissible to give the impression of committing a sin by imitating those who commit it, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them." If the impression is given through speech and talk, then lying is added to the imitation, and that is blameworthy.
