What should I do about the field study requirement that prevents a family member from accompanying the student?

It is permissible for a woman to study if no religious prohibitions result from it, such as immodest display (tabarruj) or free mixing (ikhtilat). It is also stipulated that she must not travel alone for study without a mahram (unmarriageable kin), due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "A woman must not travel except with a mahram."
