Justice among wives is obligatory concerning lodging, maintenance, and clothing. Therefore, it is not permissible to live with one wife for eleven months and with another for only one month unless she consents. As for maintenance, the difference in cost between them due to varying living expenses in different countries does not matter if justice is achieved.
