There is no impediment to treating with ginseng solution or other plant solutions so long as it does not ferment or turn into an intoxicant. If it ferments, it is not permissible to treat with it due to its impurity and vileness. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said about intoxicants: "Verily, it is not a medicine, but rather a disease." However, if the fermentation and intoxicating effect are removed from it, then it is permissible to use it and treat with it because it has become pure. Thus, it is permissible to consume the aforementioned solution if the fermentation and intoxicating effect are removed from it. As for its intoxicating state, it is not permissible to use it in medicine or otherwise.
