Is the communists' justification for the Prophet—may God's prayers and peace be upon him—killing his opponents, by claiming he did so to marry their women or daughters, as he did with Safiyyah after killing her father, correct and in need of explanation?

The slander that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, killed men to marry their wives or daughters is refuted by both transmitted accounts and rational reasoning. It is established that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not know about Safiyyah bint Huyayy until after her husband was killed in Khaybar. Furthermore, she initially fell to the lot of Dihyah al-Kalbi, and then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, chose her for himself for general interests. As for rational reasoning, his biography, peace and blessings be upon him, both before and after prophethood, indicates that he was not a seeker of desires, and all his marriages were for legislative and humanitarian wisdoms.
