Am I entitled to take a sum from "Hafiz" that is disbursed from a subcontractor's statement, based on a verbal agreement with the project manager, knowing that I do not provide a direct service to the contractor, and the sum is distributed to the entire department?

The acceptance or rejection of taking this percentage depends on the knowledge of the company owner about it, or the project manager's authority to give employees from it. The basic principle is the prohibition of taking someone else's money without their permission, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Indeed, your blood, your wealth, and your honor are sacred among you," and his saying: "The wealth of a Muslim is not lawful except with his willing consent." Therefore, it is necessary to verify the company owner's knowledge or the project manager's right before taking any percentage.
