Who is Sheikh Al-Arna'ut, and what are his most important works or scholarly editions?

Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Arna'ut passed away in the year 1425 AH in Damascus at the age of 76, which he spent in knowledge, da'wah (invitation to Islam), and scholarly verification. He was originally Albanian and grew up in Damascus. He received his education from the scholars of al-Sham (Greater Syria) and showed intelligence and a strong memory. He worked as a teacher of Quranic and Hadith sciences in several institutes. He has numerous authored works and scholarly verifications, including the verification of "Jami' al-Usul" and "Zad al-Ma'ad." He was known for his adherence to the Sunnah and the methodology of the Salaf (pious predecessors) and his call to them.
