Marriage to a woman from the People of the Book has conditions, including a guardian and witnesses, and it is not valid merely by agreement. The child is attributed to you if you believe your marriage to her was valid. You are not unjust to the girl if she committed adultery by her own choice. Be keen on the company of the righteous, and seek help from Muslims to find a righteous wife. Marrying a righteous Muslim woman is better than marrying a woman from the People of the Book.
