The definition of the foundling is continuous, close to where it was found. The definition begins daily, then every two days, then weekly, then monthly. If the definition is completed for a year in this manner, even if it is interrupted, then the definition is complete, as continuity is not a condition for the year of definition. If the year of definition has not been completed, then you must complete the remainder of it.
