What is the wisdom behind likening the disbeliever to livestock in His (the Almighty’s) saying: "Those are like livestock; nay, even more astray," knowing that livestock glorify Allah?

Allah Almighty's saying: (And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. Those are the heedless) likens disbelievers to livestock in their lack of guidance, as their concern is confined to eating, drinking, and desires. They are more astray than livestock because livestock understand their interests and follow their owner, whereas disbelievers do not do that.
