Everything containing the name of Allah or the Qur'an and must be revered, without extremism. The questioner's act of picking up the envelope containing prophetic hadiths indicates reverence for the Sunnah, and there is no disbelief in it. Disbelief occurs by intentionally desecrating holy objects, such as throwing a into filth, or by committing an act of disbelief out of mockery of religion. However, holding an envelope with an unclean hand to protect it from falling or being dishonored is not considered disbelief, and the questioner's query and fear are evidence to the contrary. One should not pay attention to the whispers of Satan, for religion is ease, and there should be no strictness in it.
