What is the ruling on the list written by the bride's family for the groom in Islam, and is it permissible to follow custom in matters of marriage?

The list written by the wife's family is an agreement between them and the husband. There is no objection to it, and there is no impediment to the prevailing custom in matters of marriage, as long as it does not contradict a Sharia ruling. Guardians are advised to facilitate marriage and reduce dowries.
