What is the ruling on using an aftershave liquid, and is ghusl (ritual bathing) required after using it?

The lotion used after shaving, if pure, there is no harm in using it, and it does not necessitate washing. However, if it is impure, it is impermissible to use it, and whatever it touches of clothing or body must be washed. It does not necessitate washing the entire body.
