Are the maternal and paternal uncles of the foster mother considered maternal and paternal uncles of her niece who was nursed with her, and vice versa?
What is established by lineage is also established by fosterage. So, if a woman breastfeeds her brother's daughter along with her own daughter, then the uncles of her daughter (the brothers of the foster mother's husband) become uncles to the fostered niece, because he is her foster father. And the foster mother's brothers become maternal uncles to the fostered niece. However, the paternal and maternal uncles of the brother's daughter do not become paternal or maternal uncles to the foster mother's daughter. Fosterage only pertains to the fostered child, not to their siblings. The fosterage that prohibits marriage consists of five satisfying breastfeeds.
