Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Oct 24, 2026
Authentic hadiths have been narrated describing the Seal of Prophethood and its location on the body of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Companions described it as being between his shoulders, near the cartilage of his left shoulder blade, and that it was the size of a pigeon's egg, with black moles resembling warts. It was a protruding piece of his body resembling his own flesh, with birthmarks on it. There are no hadiths indicating that there was any writing on it.
