If a person swears an oath about something they believe to be true, and then it turns out to be the opposite, this is considered a yamin laghw (a vain or idle oath), for which there is no sin and no expiation (kaffarah) due. Therefore, there is no expiation or sin upon you for swearing that you were not absent four times, because you believed your statement to be true at the time of the oath.
