Is it permissible to visit the Throne of Bilqis and the historical temples in Marib?

It is not permissible to enter churches and temples if there is an evil within them, such as images; otherwise, there is no harm. As for the dwellings of the destroyed peoples, they should not be visited for tourism, but rather one should pass by them with humility, contemplation, and reflection. The throne of Balqis mentioned in the Quran is not the temple currently known in Marib, Yemen; rather, it was transported to the Prophet Solomon in Al-Sham. Marib and its dam are among the places of the chastised, mentioned in Surat Saba, due to the disbelief of its people and their turning away from thanking Allah.
