What is the ruling on one who deliberately misses a single prayer for one day of the week and then makes it up? And does he commit an act of disbelief (kufr) if he does not make it up, according to the methodology of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Uthaymeen?

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen are of the view that whoever abandons prayer entirely commits an act of disbelief (kufr), whereas one who prays sometimes and misses other times does not commit disbelief. Both shaykhs hold that making up missed prayers (qada') is not obligatory for someone who intentionally abandons prayer, and that whoever performs an act of worship outside its prescribed time without a valid excuse, it will not be accepted from them.
