Is it permissible for a husband to divorce his wife for not wearing the niqab?

A man is permitted to divorce his wife if she does not obey him regarding wearing the niqab. Divorce is permissible when there is a need, and it may even be recommendable if the wife is negligent in her religious duties. The wife must obey her husband if he commands her to wear theq niqab. However, the husband is advised not to rush into divorce but rather to follow the path of wisdom and help his wife strengthen her connection with her Lord.
